After recent reports by the New York Times and the Wall Street Journal about the possibility of an Apple smartwatch in the works , now Bloomber has also come up with its share of the news regarding Apple smartwatch.
Bloomberg, citing its sources, reports that at the moment more than 100 engineers are working on the smartwatch project and the size of the team working on it is an indication that this project is clearly “beyond the experimentation phase.”
Reportedly James Foster, Apple’s director of engineering is working on the smartwatch project along with other engineers who have worked on previous iOS devices. Bloomberg’s sources told that the Apple smartwatch “may perform some of the computing tasks now handled by the iPhone and iPad.”
Previous reports had suggested that Apple had been working on fitness tracking devices but these devices never saw the daylight and never managed to reach market.
