‘Destroy Hollywood’ is the call by Paul Graham , founder of Y Combinator , a startup incubator behind some of the most successful start-ups like Dropbox and Airbnb , which are valued at $1 billion each now.
Graham as called for start-ups with potential to destroy Hollywood to come forward . He believes that Hollywood is under control of politically motivated and connect people who in turn control government. Graham is of the view that Hollywood is resorting to tactics like SOPA because internet is booming while Hollywood is dying. SOPA stands for Stop Online Piracy Act , a proposed legislation in the United States which would limit Internet freedom and enable government to censor and shut down websites like China.
So if you have a start-up with potential to inflict some blows on Hollywood , come forward and get your funding from Y Combinator.
